25 Oct New AVE GUI for touch screens and applications
AVE presents a new GUI (Graphical User Interface) for touch screens and applications, with the aim of making interaction with AVE home automation systems easier and more intuitive. The new GUI has been designed after a thorough analysis of customer needs in order to optimize the management of the functionalities of AVE systems for intelligent buildings. As a result, a single interface has been developed for touch screens and applications (available on the main platforms) and able to meet the requirements of usability and customization.
Starting with the Ave Cloud app, the interface has been redesigned to harmonies perfectly with the graphics of the intelligent building management systems, using the same background and a consistent graphic language for icons, text and visual elements, ensuring smooth and seamless access to the system.
Navigation in the new AVE GUI is organized into different levels of interaction. The home page is the first level and provides the user an overview of the system and the most common actions. At the second level, it’s possible to manage devices in a specific room or category (e.g. all lights). The third level provides access to more detailed settings and configurations. In addition, interactive pop-ups further simplify management, significantly reducing the risk of error and improving command understanding.
Designed for maximum usability, the new AVE Home Automation GUI is available in three main themes: LIGHT, TEAL and DARK. Each theme also includes a ‘minimal’ version, with no images representing the rooms, for those who prefer a more essential visualization. From the home screen, it’s possible to change the type of visualization and switch between ‘Environments’ and ‘Devices’, allowing devices to be filtered by category.
With this new graphical interface, AVE offers users an innovative home automation management experience, characterized by an intuitive, customizable and highly functional design. A new intelligent dimension for the home.
The new GUI is available for new installations; for existing systems, contact your local installer or technical support center to verify compatibility of the installed devices.
